Create a digital artwork for the 2019 dreambig festival
Would your students like to be part of this year’s DreamBIG Children’s Festival? Here is their chance!
The 2019 DreamBIG Children’s Festival is inviting schools to submit a short digital artwork for display on the big screen as part the Big Screens, Little Artists event in May. We can work with your students to help them create a digital artwork ready for submission.
The sessions will cover:
exploring this year’s theme ‘People Together’
brainstorming ways to convey qualities such as empathy, understanding, compassion, harmony and kindness in visual form
learning about technical elements of digital storytelling and displaying artworks for presentation to an audience
combining visual arts and technology to create a digital artwork
Workshops will need to take place and be completed before Friday 5th April (Week 10, term1) to ensure the submission deadline of Friday 12th April is met.
$2,200 (+GST): Includes 5 sessions (of up to 100 mins each). Suitable for students in Years 3-7. We can adapt these workshops to involve up to 180 students across the 5 sessions, working in small groups.
